Seeing two charges? The most common cause is two active subscriptions on different platforms — for example, one started in the app (Apple or Google) and another on the website. Because each platform bills separately, this can happen without realizing it.
1. Check where each charge comes from
- Apple: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Web (Stripe): check your email for receipts from MyChar / Stripe
2. If you find two active subscriptions
Keep the one you want and cancel the other:
- Apple / Google: cancel in your store account settings
- Web: email

3. Request a refund for the duplicate
Email info@mychar.io with the subject "Duplicate charge" and include your account email, both charge dates/amounts, and which subscription you want to keep. Customer satisfaction is our priority — duplicate subscription periods that were never used are normally refunded, and we can usually resolve this faster than a bank dispute process.
