Our refund policy depends on where you purchased your subscription or gems.
Apple App Store purchases
Refunds for Apple App Store subscriptions are handled directly by Apple. Mychar cannot process Apple refunds on your behalf.
To request a refund from Apple:
1. Visit `reportaproblem.apple.com`
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find your Mychar purchase and tap Report a Problem
4. Select a reason and submit
Apple usually responds within 24–48 hours.
Google Play purchases
Refunds within 48 hours of purchase can usually be requested directly via Google Play:
1. Open Google Play → Account → Order history
2. Find your Mychar order and tap Request refund
For purchases older than 48 hours, contact `info@mychar.io`.
Website (Stripe) purchases
Subscription fees and one-time gem purchases are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
EU consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal: Consumers in the European Union may have the right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase under EU consumer law. To exercise this right, contact `info@mychar.io` within 14 days of purchase. Note: by using the Service and consuming digital content during this period, you may waive this right under applicable law.
Defective service: If you experience a verified service defect (extended outage, billing error), contact `info@mychar.io` with details. We will investigate and, where appropriate, provide a refund or service credit.
What we cannot refund
- Gems already consumed (spent on gifts, voice calls, image generation)
- Partial month / unused subscription periods
- Cancellations made after the renewal billing date
