If you purchased gems but your balance did not update, try the following:
1. Restart the app or refresh the page
Balances usually update instantly, but a restart forces a refresh.
2. Confirm the purchase completed
- Apple / Google: check your store purchase history for the gem pack receipt.
- Web: check your email for a payment receipt.
If there is no receipt, the payment may not have completed — no charge, no gems.
3. Confirm you are signed in with the purchase account
Your gem balance is linked to the email used at purchase. If you bought gems while signed in with one account and are now using another, the gems are on the first account.
Still missing?
Email info@mychar.io with the subject "Gems not credited" and include:
- Your account email
- The purchase receipt (Apple, Google, or web)
- The date and amount of the purchase
We will locate the transaction and credit your gems.
