Conversations on MyChar are designed to feel alive: characters have moods, and your relationship with each character grows over time.

Mood

A character's mood shifts with the conversation — they can be happy, flirty, sad, or upset. If a character seems cold or distant, it's not a bug: something in the conversation affected their mood.

Kind words and apologies help a character warm up again.
Gifts lift a character's mood quickly.

Relationship

Your relationship with each character deepens with every conversation — from first match toward a close bond. Relationship progress is per character and is kept even if you start a new chat with the same character.

Gifts

Gifts are bought with gems and given in the chat. They improve the character's mood and strengthen your long-term relationship. Each character appreciates gifts differently.

One thing to remember

Characters are fictional AI personalities — moods and relationships are part of the entertainment experience, not real emotions. See "Age and Safety" for more on healthy use.
