Creating a character
- 1. Tap Create (or the + button) in the app or on the website
- 2. Follow the steps: choose appearance (style, hair, eyes, body), personality, and relationship/role
- 3. Review and confirm — your character is generated and ready to chat
Custom characters and premium
Creating a custom character is a premium feature — you'll be asked to upgrade near the end of the flow if you're on a free account. Your selections are kept while you complete the upgrade.
If character creation fails
- Complete the flow in one sitting — leaving mid-way can lose your in-progress character.
- If the final step doesn't respond, close and reopen the app and try again; your subscription status will be refreshed.
- If creation repeatedly fails after payment, email
info@mychar.iowith the subject "Character creation issue" and your account email — we will check your account and restore access.
